In 2021, officials for Warrick County announced plans for a $45M sports complex located on Warrick Trail developed through a public-private partnership. In January 2022 the Southwestern region of Indiana was awarded funds through a grant that closes the public funding capital stack for this project, and groundbreaking is expected in late 2022 with construction to be completed in 12-14 months.
